eSVS® Mesh

The Kips Bay Medical eSVS® Mesh is an extravascular prosthesis consisting of a highly flexible, semi-compliant, kink-resistant, knitted nitinol mesh tube that is placed over the patient's saphenous vein graft (SVG) during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery.

The eSVS® Mesh is indicated for maintaining saphenous vein bypass graft patency in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft procedures utilizing autologous saphenous vein grafts with external diameters from 3.6mm to 7.0mm and double wall thicknesses less than 1.4mm.

Kips Bay Medical has completed a 90-patient international clinical trial of the eSVS® Mesh. Results of this study were used as the clinical basis for obtaining the EU CE Mark in May 2010.
