Saint Come Chirurgie & Pacific Medical Systems Sign Exclusive Asia Distribution Agreement for Aortic Prosthesis

Saint Come Chirurgie announced today that it has signed an agreement appointing Pacific Medical Systems Limited., a dedicated marketing and distribution company, as the exclusive distribution channel for the Djumbodis Aortic Dissection Prosthesis, for use in Type-A and Type-B Aortic Dissections surgeries.
Under the agreement, Pacific Medical Systems Limited has the exclusive rights to market and sell the Djumbodis Asia wide (with the exception of Japan) for use in Aortic dissection surgeries. Saint Come Chirurgie manufactures and supplies the product to Pacific Medical Systems for the Asian market.
The Djumbodis is a novel, balloon mounted stent, which is used by the cardiovascular / cardiothoracic surgeon during treatment of Aortic Dissections to avoid post surgical aneurysm formation due to migration of the dissection and to restore the anatomy and function of the aorta. The Djumbodis has obtained CE Mark approval for sale in the European Union, and has been very well received. Several recent studies have confirmed favorable outcomes using the Djumbodis in this critical and often emergency surgical procedure.
