Pacific Medical Systems Ltd and our newly appointed distribution partner Diagnostica Marketing Sdn. Bhd. joined the 9th Malaysian Association for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, held in Langkawi Island from 1st – 2nd September 2006.
Over 100 local and overseas participants were present for this 2-day event.

AtriCure - provides the most effective and most complete solution for the surgical treatment of Atrial Fibrillation (AF). AtriCure uses Bipolar / Transpolar™ ablation clamps and pens for both open and closed chest, minimally invasive procedures. The new Isolator™ Transpolar™ pen can be used to pace/stimulate, sense and ablate, while the dedicated RF ablation generator provides visual confirmation of transmurality of the lesion. AtriCure’s superior technology and its leading position in the USA resulted in heavy customer traffic on the exhibition booth.
Vivolution - Vivostat, Autologuous fibrin sealant system, which takes only 23 minutes to generate fully automatically a totally safe, high quality, elastic fibrin sealant effective in stopping various bleedings and air-leaks during surgery. Its distinctive advantage in being generated from the patients’ own blood and therefore avoiding risks of disease transfer, as well as in providing the surgeon with the most effective delivery system, have been very well received. The Vivostat system is not only useful in Cardiac Surgeries, but also in thoracic, vascular, liver, orthopedic, neuro and lung surgeries.
