Pacific Medical Systems Limited today announces that the company has entered into an agreement with Episurf Medical, Sweden (NASDAQ: EPIS B), for the exclusive distribution of the Episealer® in Hong Kong and Macau.

Episurf Medical’s Episealer® are personalized implants for the treatment of localized cartilage and bone injuries in joints, restoring more active quality of life. 

Based on the 3-D MRI reconstructions, Episurf Medical will issue a detailed damage assessment report and produce a tailormade implant, that will optimally fit each individual patient’s unique injury. A set of patient specific implant tools will accompany each Episealer® implant to ensure perfect fit for the unique anatomy during the procedure.

Initial discussions and introduction of the Episealer® with leading surgeons in Hong Kong have resulted in very positive feedback, confirming that the Episealer® will help them to treat patients in the so-called treatment gap.
